Woodredon Stable Club

Come and help out at the centre with your favourite ponies!

To become a WEC Stable Club member you have to be a minimum age of 10 years old. You will also have to of passed your ABRS Test 1 and 2 to be able to join. We hold the training and tests frequently doing the year at half terms and holidays so keep an eye on the programmes page for the dates for these.

When you are a Stable Clubber you will be able to come and help with the daily tasks around the yard including grooming your favourite ponies, leading in beginner lessons and feeding. Being a Stable Clubber you will also have the opportunity to be chosen to ride at our shows held throughout the summer months, giving you a chance to compete against others and win some fantastic prizes just like you would if you owned your own pony!

Throughout the holidays and half terms will we also hold special ‘Stable Club Rides’ at a reduced price as a thankyou for all your help looking after our team of horses and ponies.

Saturdays and Sundays are the most popular days to come and help out at the yard but if you are riding during the week you can come up at 4pm to help with the afternoon lessons.

We advise that all Stable Clubbers have their own insurance, which is available from us through The Equine Club. When Stable Clubbers arrive and depart the centre they must sign in and out and emergency contact details are always needed. If you are here all day we don’t supply lunch or refreshments so please remember to bring your own or money for the vending machines.
